It’s Time To Go Mobile

While most businesses have a website, it is becoming increasingly important to have a mobile website that can be easily viewed by potential customers. Many traditional websites do not work well on mobile devices. A site that is difficult to use on a mobile device will not only frustrate the customer, but also send them to the competition.

In a recent study, 57 percent of respondents said they would not recommend a business that had a bad mobile site, while 40 percent said they would turn to another business after having a bad mobile website experience.

Google also recently stated that there will be one mobile device for every person on earth by 2015. That’s over 6 billion mobile devices! The question is, what impact will this have on your business?

    Majority of website & business owners are realizing the importance of being available to their target audience on mobile sites. The web search as well as analytics is shifting towards mobile optimization & analytics. Its only a matter of time when SEO will revolve more about mobile & comparatively less about desktop. The perception readjustment has already begun. Look at iOS 7 – which is going to give you your referrer data & the search marketers do have an eye on this one as everyone wants to report the exact data rather than “Not Provided”. The shift has actually begun.:)
